Saving...
Oct 31, 1945 My Dearest Evelyn, Hi darling! Just the guy that loves you so much coming through with a letter. First off, I got two letters from you last evening. Also had one from Ken and one from Mom. They were all Oct 11 so the mail is beginning to catch up, slow but sure. First with the news darling. Went back to the Co. yesterday morning to get some things straightened out. I paid a guy some money, picked up my laundry and sent $22. more home. Then I came back by the hospital to see the results of my X-Ray. Nothing wrong darling so I can go right on playing. As you can see, I really flew around some, but I got everything straightened out.
