how much you do mean to me. In Mom's letter, she said [Karsie?] had just gotten home and had called them on the phone. Darling, I'll be he is one happy guy. I guess his mother could hardly believe it. Sounds as if you really had a time getting home darling. Believe me, I'd go through a lot of trouble just to get home again. I can picture you two parked on a suitcase over at the [Junt?]. Mom said in her letter that Dad had seen you in Richland and had talked to you a few minutes. I'm afraid Dad is a bit optimistic when he thinks I'll be home in Feb. I do hope to be home by June though darling. Anytime before then would be a very pleasant surprise.
