Saving...
2. Got a scout knife from Ken last evening. Guess I'm all fixed up now. Had an easy time this week. I pulled a muscle in my leg so I messed around the tent for four days of last week. Pretty good now tho. We have a ball game this afternoon. Guess I'll try my luck at that. Got you letter and the clippings both last night mom. Took it nine days for the trip. Not bad. Sure glad Ken got out of the Infantry and back into the [T.D.'s?]. This is no good. My little book points out that "Mothers Day" is in one more week. Presents are a little out of the question but I can still say that I've got the best mom in the world.
