I'm really not sleepy yet although I don't know why. There has been absolutely no mail for anyone these past few days. Ben four days since I've had mail now. Honey, are my letter getting to you in very good time? Sure hope so for its a son of a gun to go without it. Golly darling, the news sounds so darned good and encouraging. Right now we are busy waiting to see if there is anything to the story that Japan wants to surrender. What news that would be if it were only true. Almost too good to hope for. Can't see why they would want to keep fighting though with the beating they are taking. Remember when we used to talk like this before Germany surrendered? That seems so long ago.
