Aug 26, 1945 My Dearest Evelyn, Hiya darling. Here's that man again. See if I . can't dash off a few lines tonight. Honey, had two more wonderful letters from you this morning. My golly but they came in a hurry. They were your Aug 19, 21 letters. Only five days for the one. Can't beat that much. Darling, I'm so glad you went home and got to see the folks. Honey, things are working out swell. Now that our folks know about us and approve, we have really gained ground. I only wish I could have been there with you so we could have told both of them together, but I guess we couldn't help that. Darling, I feel so
