and [paper missing] had one from Ken. Yours was postmarked Aug 21. Honey, the mail seems to be coming through much better now. I hope you are getting yours as fast as I. Well anyway, I laid around in bed until it was time for dinner then I got up to eat. Had that roast beef and a shave afterwards and now I'm writing you. Darling, I know how it is to try and write everyday. I understand if news is short or you don't get to write at all. Don't worry about it honey cuz I have the same [paper missing] vidently the folks had written Ken about us after they first heard. I know Ken hasn't had time to get my letter and he mentioned us in is letter. Honey, he thinks you are swell and said he surely approved. He also commented on how happy the folks were about it. Golly honey, everything is swell.
