a kick out of me writing at all hours like this. they say it must be love and they are absolutely right. I do love you so much honey. Anyway I got up about 8:00 this morning cuz some General was supposed to be coming around. We had to shine the place up. The trouble is that he never showed up after all the work. Had a letter from you this morning darling. Postmarked the 24th. Darling, its really swell to have a letter about every day from you. Really helps to get those few wonderful words. Honey, if you only knew how very much I love you. By this time it was dinner time and I didn't need to be called twice. After that I started writing some long over due letters. I wrote four of
