live here was home & discharged so about 10 of us sat & played cards & had a regular bull session. Got me a new gray gabardine dress. Sorta cut & makes me look taller. Just what I need. I got a letter from Carroll today & it's better all the time. He should be home in April. It doesn't seem possible we can really count on it now but we certainly are. Maybe this complaining did help. I hope so. I've had an awful case of laryngitis the last wk. For couple, three days I couldn't talk at all. It was terrible trying to talk to the Drs. on the telephone. Really miserable. It doesn't seem possible Karen is growing so fast. Before we know it she'll be walking around her play pen. I'm glad Margret & Karen are going to just stay in Rubio cuz I'll be sure & get to see them when I get home. I haven't heard from the folks lately. They were supposed to move the
