(1) This patrol of which I am a member) does the downright dirty work. All members must have a working knowledge of the enemy language, in order to question prisoners. They must round up the mayor, chief of police, sherrif, postmaster, banker, political leaders, doctors, nurses, town engineer, radio station operator, and town commandant, if any. Also all subversive peoples, and it is the duty of this patrol to shoot them. Pay special attention to radio station as a possible propaganda distributor. Quick inventory of town. What to keep, what to destroy. It's up to this patrol to decide whether or not to destroy the town. All depending on what is stored in it. Generalities-- Division unit of gasoline.--Or how many gallons is necessary to move the 10th Armed division, 1 mile. Roughly - 500 gallons!
