My furlough is supposed to come out right after these maneuvers. God willing!! At least that's the latest dope. They may kick it in the head at any time. That's the army way. About Grandma's birthday. When I come home on furlough, I'll try and bring her some small present. I think that will please her, don't you? We've got to take a tetanus shot and a short arm inspection today. Haven't had either one for a long time. A lot of the boys are scared to death of the tetanus shot. Don't know why.
