3 school every day, and I really like it. It's very interesting work, but it's super-complicated. All about micro-ferads, milli-amperes, ripple voltage, watts, volts, homs, condensers, capacitors, coils, resistors, transformers, polarity, etc. Then there's plate supply, line resistance, false voltage (caused by electrical friction), feed-back, blocking, skip distance, and more things too numerous to mention. I'll be all right if I can digest it all. But it's a large order. They seem to think I'll do them a little good if I know something about radio. I hope they're right. Because of going to radio school, I didn't have to make the 25 mile hike today. That was certainly a break for me. I think I hate that more than anything else that the army dishes out. The fellows who did make it, are a bunch of sad sacks tonite. I don't think that there is a one of them that didn't have blisters on their feet. Some of them had them as big as silver dollars, and a lot of them didn't finish the hike. I understand that we have another 25
