went into town last night to have a steak and see a show Enjoyed both of them but there are so many G.I.'s in town that it;s a struggle to get in any place And then there is the interminable line at both bus stations to go to town and get back to camp I placed myself in line at the bus station in town at 11:30 last night and arrived in camp at 2:30 this morning What a scuffle! That alone is enough to discourage a fellow from going to town too often I read with interest the card you enclosed from Janet Sorry to hear of Louis's misfortune Will try to write a card to her in the near future As far as the pass is concerned I doubt that very much We're all taking our P.O.M. tests and no one can get away Will say so long for now , Mom All the love in the world Your son .
