Middleport, N.Y> June 7th/44 Dear Pearl, For some time Jack has been Constantly in my mind. I have not heard from him for months. He must be over seas. Now when you receive this Pearl, please write me at once, giving me all the Information you Can. I am always wishing that I could be with him in the struggle. Things are quite as usual here, I had the House painted this spring, all white. I think it looks Very Good. My Roses are lovely, wish you could have a bunch.
