Tomorrow comes a big "show-down" inspection. Everything we own will be inspected, and if we have any equipment that's over and above what we were issued, it will be taken away from us. That is---, any G.I. equipment. It's just a big nuisance as far as most of us are concerned. It'll take about 2 days to check over the entire company.
Sorry to hear about Tony and you. After all, the guy probably expects a little bit of necking and if he isn't downright repulsive, you might even enjoy it yourself. It might do you some good, too.
