I'll send the obit. and Mary's letter back to you, to send to Aunt Gertrude. I'm absolutely swamped with correspondence. Was so sorry to hear about Janet's loss. I will try to write to her if I possibly can. She has often talked about Alice, and I know that they must have been very close to each other. I hope it doesn't break her up too much. But she's quite a practical and sensible woman, so she'll probably come out of it all right. Saw a swell show this afternoon. 'Twas, "Thousands Cheer," in Technicolor. It had about all of M.G.M's stars in it. Including 3 dance bands and Jose Iturbi conducting the M.G.M. recording Symphony Orchestra and chorus. Iturbi actually played some
