1 date of fifty or more during the third year, or (C) twenty- 2 five or more thereafter, and such labor organization - 3 (1) is the certified representative of employees 4 under the provisions of the National Labor Relations 5 Act, as emended, or the Railway Labor Act, as 6 amended; 7 (2) although not certified, is a national or interna- 8 tional labor organization or a local labor organization 9 recognized or acting as the representative of employees 10 of an employer or employers engaged in an industry af- 11 fecting commerce; or 12 (3) has chartered a local labor organization or sub- 13 sidiary body which is representing or actively seeking 14 to represent employees of emplyers within the meaning 15 of paragraph (1) or (2); or 16 (4) has been chartered by a labor organization 17 representing or actively seeking to represent employees 18 within the meaning of paragraph (1) or (2) as the 19 local or subordinate body through which such employees 20 may enjoy membership or become affiliated with such 21 labor organization; or 22 (5) is a conference, general committee, joint or 23 system board, or joint council subordinate to a national 24 or international labor organization, which includes a labor 25 organization engaged in an industry affecting commerce
