Another Negro family has a similar experience, but eventually find an apartment manager who has a policy of equal opportunity. Based on actual experiences, this film helps the audience examine their own attitudes. Explains that Sammy Lee was recently denied housing accommodations, and includes interviews with members of the Olympic diving champion's family and friends. Film has a ten minute section devoted to basic questions of racial prejudice-what it is and how it affects Jews, Mexicans and Negroes in a variety of situations.
