CALENDAR OF EVENTS Anyone interested in attending the Community Theatre's presentation of "Plaza Suite" be sure and call Ellie Thorman, 338-2584, for reservations by Friday, February 4 - the sooner the better! Tickets are $2.50 per person. Fri. Feb 4 8:00 pm Board & Program Planning meeting at Rose Lipsius home, 1111 Pine. Anyone is welcome - we need new ideas! 25c charge. Sat. Feb 5 8:30 pm Adult "White Elephant" Bingo at Rose Lipsius, 1111 Pine. Come & bring your "white elephants" (items no longer useful to you, things you've been going to get rid of or are tired of). That statement could be misleading - depends on your sense of humor and frame of mind! 50c charge. Coffee & refreshments. Sun. Feb 6 2:30 pm Family ice skating at Mercer Park. "Hot chocolate" will be served at Harold Park's, 7091/2 S Dubuque afterwards. Wed. Feb 9 Community Theatre night - "Plaza Suite" at Johnson County 4-H Fairgrounds on Hiway 218 So. For rides call Rose Lipsius or Harold Park. Fri. Feb 11 10:00 pm Adult Roller Skating at Skateland, 1000 E 2nd St, Coralville. Sun. Feb 13 3:00 pm Family Bowling at Colonial Lanes, Hiway 218 So, also Putt-Putt Golf. Mon. Feb 14 6:00 pm Valentine day and Cupid's at it again! Member Gil Hotz and Shirley Jones will be united in marriage at the Coralville Methodist Church, 806-13th Avenue. Everyone is invited. Our sincere congratulations and best wishes to both of you. Wed. Feb 16 7:30 pm ATTENTION, Divorce Laws & Single Tax Laws - The Mississippi Valley Chapter of PWP has invited us to a discussion of these interesting topics by Senator John Tapscott, Democratic candidate for Governor at Edwards Congregational Church, Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport, Iowa. If you're interested call Rosie and we'll try and arrange a car pool.
