Judge Mulling Iowa City Case By a Staff Writer IOWA CITY, IA. - Former Iowa Supreme Court Justice Theodore Garfield has taken under advisement the case of two former University of Iowa student groups facing university disciplinary action. The university has charged that the Worker-Student Alliance (WSA) is a front group for the old Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), which was banned from the campus for a year in April, 1971. The WSA group was stripped of its recognition as a bona fide U of I student group in March when the university determined that the group amounted to SDS under a different name. That action followed a (WSA) protest on the campus during which a controversial Harvard University professor was singled out for writing an allegedly "racist" article. Garfield will report to U od I President Williard Boyd, who will take the final action.
