PSFS News Page 31 NEW POLICY GIVEN Editorials of the usual run of the mill fan magazine variety will not be a part of the PSFS NEWS. They will be used as something else besides an account of the contents of the current issue, unless it is to point out something of exceptional interest. In fact, an editorial will not appear in every issue-- they will appear only when the editor feels that one is necessary. Articles which reflect on the name of anyone will not be published. The mud slinging which has long been a part of most fan magazines will not be a part of the PSFS News. If the editors or writers of certain fan magazines knew that they could easily be sued by the person attacked, perhaps they would use a little discretion. The PSFS News, in the future, will not be merely a magazine containing club news, of interest only to a small group. It will be a real fan magazine, with news items, articles, columns, stories, poetry, illustrations, etc. Space will also be devoted to the activities of other science fiction organizations, provided they get in touch with the editor. Beginning with this issue, the PSFS News will be a real fan magazine. new type of club publication. Contributions are welcome from anyone, and all material will be carefully considered. The deadline is the fifteenth of each#### month. (Oswald Train)
