THE PHANTAGRAPH (Founded in 1934 as the TFG Bulletin) on xxxxxx combined with numerous other and later fantasy fan magazines. Edited and Published by Donald A. Wollheim at the Futurian Foundation, 137 E. 27th St., NYC. xxxxx Robert W. Lowndes, Asst. Editor and John B. Michel, Art Editor. December 1942 Volume 10 Number 3 FANTASAY AMATEUR PRESS ASSOCIATION -------------------------------- PHANTAGRAPHY We don't know at the time of stenciling just what sort of cover this issue have if it has any at all. John Michel made our covers of the past due to his business connections with a branch of the printing department of F.W.Wolworth's which enables him to use their silk-screen art facilities. Today Michel is no longer with them but is instead working with me on the editorial staff of a large pulp publishing house. Having acquired his service in my professional editorial capacity. However we'll work on the problem together as always. This issue was supposed to be really just a booklet as the statement on page four states. But our work does not permit us the time for more booklets [illegible] took the stencils for this first one and are using them in an issue of The Phantagraph instead. Apologies are due those who have read the story before. We just reprinting it ourselves because we like it and our own likes have always been the sole reason for the inclusion of anything in the magazine. The story appeared originally in Harry Jenkins' "Polaris". --- DAW
