CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES The Hispanic Conference is the first of its kind in the State of Iowa. It will examine the current status of the Hispanics in our Society and extent of their participation in Public Policy formulation. Specifically it will attempt to: 1) Examine the philosophical, psychological, cultural, historical, economic, linguistic and political factors that should impact on decision making and policy formulation. 2) Examine those applicable governmental regulations that lead to public policy formulation and the extent to which Hispanic influence is conveyed.
