OCTOBER 12 1936. Washed, tho high cold wind. Last fresh cauliflower from garden for supper. 1937. Have cold, but sore throat better. Canned 4 qt. beets, baked beans, ironed, mended. Letter from B. Hans home for supper. 1938. Wrote Hans, walked to mailbox twice, made Frank's pajamas. Baked rye bread, dressed chicken. Went to "500" card party at Pheasant Branch school put on by Community Club, met Mrs. Henkils. Got 4 punches, from 6 games. 19 Colder. Wrote Hilda, Velma T. Baked rolls, canned 2 qt. pears, washed kitchen woodwork. To Missionary Mtg in eve at Mrs. Wolf's. Acted as sec. 19
