DECEMBER 4 Baked bread, ironed, did mending. Signe and Kathryn went with us to town to do Christmas shopping. We mailed out 3 foreign letters (Signe to Eng.) Tried to find limestone in P.M. on icy side roads. Cloudy. In bed part of day. Children to S.S. and church. Hilda earned $15 the last 5-1/2 days at Interstate Finance Corp. Indigestion and awake from 3:30 A.M. Letter from Hilda. Dressed duck. Finished crochet edge on second pillowcase. Made yellow peasant apron. Wrote Hans - gone to Albert Leo - and Hilda.
