The year the thousand nine hundred and nineteen. Jan 1st Cold and blustery. Temperature moving around zero mark and below. Nothing accomplished on account of cold weather. Jan 2nd. Today a repetition of yesterday as far as weather is concerned. Jan 3d. Weather continues cold. Hauled a little straw this PM for myself and a jag of fodder for Edwin. Wind veered to south-west this evening. Jan 4th. Weather considerably warmer. Been puttering around with stock putting things in condition. Snowing a little. Jan 5th. Cold again. To Frank's for dinner.
