Monday, April 7th. To town in forenoon. Bought brood sow of Joe. Hauled her home in afternoon. Light rain in morning. April 8th. To Perry with Dick and Flora. Bot evergreens. April 9th. Rain. Planted evergreens between showers. April 10th. Rain again. Was over to Edwinas and worked at wagon boxes. April 11th. Still cloudy. Started to tear down fence. Albert arrived at home. Chewed [rag?] with him in afternoon. April 12th. Plowed some land for [illegible] and sowed [illegible] forenoon. Finished ripping out hog shed and piled up [illegible]. April 13th. To church. [Name] came out last night with Alma. Weather fine in forenoon. April 14th. Drizzling again
