July 12th. Albert & I went to (Bouton?) in forenoon. Hauled hay from forty in afternoon. July 13th. Albert & I to (Bouton?) again. Heard Mrs. Edwins had a stroke last night. Monday. July 14th. Rain last night again. Cut Canada thistles. Hauled out two loads of manure from barn. Helped Alf finish Albins oats. Hauled hay from forty. Albert cut a few rounds around field of oats. July 15th. Hauled hay all day. Arthurs brought tractor to Alberts. July 16th. Finished haying our forty. Albert started cutting oats in afternoon. Shucked the latter part of afternoon. July 17. Shucked again all day excepting a little while in morning when I mowed for Albin. July 18. Shucked until 3 o'clock. Hayed at Edwins after that time. Finished cutting oats.
