10 FANFARE CONSTITUTION Article I The name of this organization shall be THE STRANGER CLUB. Article II Any person who is interested in fantasy may become a member of the club. A two-thirds majority is necessary to expell a member. Article III The officers of the club shall be a Director and a Secretary-Treasurer, elected each October. The Director shall preside at meetings. The Secretary-Treasurer shall keep records of the meetings, and be responsible for safekeeping of funds. Officers may resign; and may be impeached by a two-thirds majority. Article IV Each member shall pay dues of fifteen cents per club meeting. Article V All expenditures must be approved, and any expenditure over one dollar must be approved in advance by two-thirds of the members present. Article VI Before adjournment of each meeting, the place and date of the subsequent meeting shall be decided. Article VII A two-thirds majority is necessary to pass admendments to this constitution. LOOKING OVER THE FANMAGS (continued from page 16) LeZombie, nos. 27 & [27 1/3.] The top fan fun sheet of the nation. Put out by the whimsymaster Bob Tucker, Box 260, Bloomington, Illinois. 27 contains a page and half of Bob's hilarious and interesting "departments"..... The Amateur Press Digest, a comprehensive review of the leading fanmags--all of them, in fact, leading or trailing..... A new Dept., CULLINGS, in which some of the best bits from other fanmags are reprinted. Especially good was THE AVERAGE FAN, taken from the English pub GARGOYLE..... And a piece of satire by the famous [Ding?], in which he interviews Editor Pohl in imagination. [27 1/3] asks if LeZ should change its policy, and has a page of [ARD]. Voice of The Imagi-Nation -- this is the fifth issue of the mag composed entirely of fan letters. All the letters were worth reading, because they were nearly all by prominent fans and letter writers, such as Carnell, Kuslan, Youd, Reinsberg, Rothman, Warner, Wilson, Lowndes, and Hart, to mention a few. VoM comes from 4e Morojo, Box 6475, Metropolitan Station, Los Angeles California.
