AMAZING WONDER TALES THE PERRY LINE longer, Captain Bob Knew what those fellows in that ship meant, knew what they had in mind. They would blow up the ship when it was near the [morn??] so that it's...wreckage would fall on the Moon and kill all who might have missed being killed...during the explosion. Bob set the gun and pulled the lever. The ships gun let go a shot that... struck the small ship square amidships, blowing it to small. Bob smiled and started to [wal??] out of the room thinking that the crude gun had withstood the shot, but was mistaken, as soon as he had closed the door behind him the gun exploded. Bob opened his eyes to find himself on a cot in a hospital on Moars..He looked around once and soon a nurse was at his side. From her he learned that the gun had exploded after he had left the room and had badly injured him. Only the fact that he had closed the door had saved him from death. The Ferry had managed to creep to Mars where he had been placed in a hospital. For over two months he had been near death. Now two months he had opened his eyes. The Captain of the Ferry and a Major of the Space Navy dropped in to see him a day later, but after seeing that he was talking to Helen, they decided to come another day. THE END SCIENCERELY YOURS The Editorial Department Well Science-Fiction Fans here it is! AMAZING WONDER TALES makes it's first appearence after months of ceaseless efforts. I and co-partner take pride in this issue, for, it features five swell stories and five departments, of the dept. we have not much material for first of all this will be a story magazine. The policy of this magazine will be to have stories complete or if a serial it will be announced until I have it all complete before me therefore knowing that the readers will start a serial and be able to read the end. I h-hope this goes well with you, however if you wish no serials at all, please let me know. Secondly each story will have an illustration with an inscription from the story...underneath, All illustrations will have to be neat and with borders. Being that there is very little room left "The [Reder Sex???] will have to be combined with this dept. Here are a few excerpts from the readers: John Giunts..... I have enclosed 10c for a copy of A.W.T. I will send a year's subscription later on. S Yours, Olon F. Wiggens (Thanks! I and my partner will be waiting for that sub. Oh Boy! ED.)
