Claims credit for first "class" hektographed magazine. He published three issues of "Fantasagoria", containing some excellent materiel by Ducane W. Rinel, Robert W. Lowndes, Kail Pateja, Henry Kuttner, Charles Baudelaire, William Lunley, Corwin F. Stiekaey, Robert Bisch, H.P Lovecraft, Earl Pieree. Jr, and others. WIth emphasis on sourse can[?] the wierd angle. His illustrations were some of the finest ever contained in a fan mag and penned by Baltadonis for the most part. THe one snigms he got could not over some was "poor hektographing". As present his activities are dorment. He probably hasn't quit the field, as yet. I hope he resumes publication of "Fantasgagoria" now. There's a place for that genunely different fan magazine. COLLECTOR'S ITEMS by Robert Bahr THE GAJLEON "The Galleon" was an amateur magazine of high quality published by the "Galleon Writer's Guild" and edited by the well known science fiction author, Lloyd Arthur Eabash. In its pages the standard of high quality was matisulously upheld. An example of this is their story contact, which after running several months the editor said would be disbaned and no prizes would be given because none of the stories submitted were worth a prize. It i[illegible] ith two issues of this magazine that we are shierly[?] govneorned. They are the two issues containing representatives of fantastic fiction. The fifth issue of the magazine contained what I honestly believe to be H.P LOVECRAFT'S most beautiful story. THE QUEST OF IRANON is [illegible] title, and the spell it weaves over the render holds him enchanted until the very last lines of surprise & sheer haunting beautys. And in the twilight as the stars came out one by one and the moon cast [illegible] Chomarsh a radiance like that whieL a child sees quinering[?] on the floor as he his rocked to sleep a [illegible], there walked into the letha; quicksands a very old man in tattered purple, erowned with withered vine leaves and gazing ahead as if upca the
