The emptiness, the loneliness, futility itself was gone, conquered by the sound, destroyed by the light. And far away, but approaching closer and closer, the dark vehicle came. A miscalculation hid twisted their course From Mercury into old Sol, The Sun was now drawing them with its huge force, straight into the flaming ball. Higher and higher rose the bright flame, Swifter and swifter it shot, nearer and nearer; quickly it came, It's breath was hotter than hot. The heat was so stifling it choked those within, It smothered their dying breath. It seemed to clamor and shout with unceasing din; It brought the presence of Death. Gone the fearful fire cold, For Luna like a comet soaring, Ringed about with light of gold, Toward the Birth comes leaping, roaring.
