won a glorious game yesterday as Gus will relate. This week will be even tougher but we many sneak by; if we do we will be a very tough team the rest of the year. I came out of this game unscathed and ankle untouched. Thank you for the good work you are doing. Today I feel pretty good but tired and with a claim of a cold. Please help me to know that I "rest in right activity" and may "run and not be tired". It looks as if I will be in there pitching the whole route most of the time. I am thankful for the blessings that are mine - I have more stamina and feel better physically than I have for 4 or 5 years. We had a nice weekend or rather a nice Saturday. We all went to the Dad's day banquet and all had a reasonably good time I'm sure. Jim George & I had dates after the banquet and it is remarkable what a refreshing tonic a pretty girl can be. I escorted Barbara Miller of Soo City whose picture I think I have pointed out in the yearbook. She is a very charming and likeable gal. Also I introduced father
