Dear Nile:
First,  I wish to congratulate you on the fine record you
have made during the current football season.
It  is also my pleasure to advise you that the All America
Board has selected you as a member of the team for 1939. Please withhold this information until December 9 on which date the story will be
published in the newspapers.
You and the other  ten players of the team are invited to
be present  to receive your All America certificate next Sunday afternoon,
December 10 on a radio program, which will be distributed through sixty
(60)    of the National Broadcasting Company stations.
The members of the All America Board and the eleven players will be on the program and the speakers may be picked up at New York,
Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, San Francisco and Los Angeles.    Any of these
points most convenient  to you will be satisfactory and I hope you will
arrange to be there.    Kindly wire your acceptance on receipt of this
letter.
Also wish you would advise what  size  sweater you wear and
in what manner you wish your name to appear on your All America certificate.
Ballot  for Captain of the 1939 All America team is enclosed.
Please rush the ballot by return Airmail.
