free & seems to get better each day. However, much to my surprise, Doc, today when he looked it over still suggested an operation as the best course. He is outlining what he thinks best I know & is a fine fellow all the way around - no maliciousness, I am sure. The bump is still as high, I believe as it ever was even though I can use my arm quite well. Doc says that as things stand that I'll be able to use it ok but it will never be a good joint or a sound shoulder; that I am apt to be bothered with arthritis, etc. He says the operation doesn't am't to much & can be done whenever I want - between semesters, spring vacation or after school is out; that Heindler, the top man down here, would perform. He points out that it is a peculiar joint & there are no muscles to pull it back in place as in other joints; that my shoulder is out of line with the other one but that this operation would make it as good as new.
