playing football for my means of sustinence. They are very definitely seeking good football players; I am no more interested in them than any other instructor. I have demonstrably proved that I am down here for the primary purpose of getting educated. Loss of my athletic jobs (I am considering for the present that the bank job is also an athletic job. However, I have more to say on this later) would hardly break my stride in my educational pursuit. They know this and will say nothing relative thereto. Otto Vogel once told me that Iowa was proud that her jobs were granted in the interest of the college student and not for the exclusively athletically minded chap; that a boy receiving a job in the fall would hold that job the remainder of the year regardless of what happened -
