Now let us deal with the crux of my financial status; that matter which so perturbs my mother - my beloved bank job; that which seemed so fine and good early in the fall. Has it suddenly been revealed as debasing my character and a shame to my pride and integrity. I dare say not; and will endeavour to so prove.
Mr. Williams personally called me up and asked me to drop in and see him. I did not solicit the job or ask anyone to so do. At the time I was not in dire need for funds or a job; I had both - and both were satisfactory. Therefore he could not have been actuated by any moral obligation
