Thursday 3-9-'39 Dear Mother: This week has been full of tests for me. I have done quite well in all of them, except Intermediate Acctg which I took this afternoon - or rather it took me. I have been bothered the past week with a claim of a cold, but seem to be in pretty good shape now. However, I, of necessity, bought six new handkerchiefs. You might keep your eye out for them, for I should like to get them back. Ben writes that he is coming to Cedar Rapids on Friday the seventeenth and down here on Sat. I believe he plans to hitchhike to
