March 26, 1939 Mr. James W. Fay Emmetsburg, Iowa Dear Mr. Fay: It was very considerate of you to write me on the 20th in regard to your broadcast from Sioux City on the 24th, and I wish to thank you for your thoughtfulness. However, it was impossible for us to get KSCJ at that time of the evening because our set is small and not a new one. I tried on Thursday evening also to get that station but could not raise it at all. If you have an extra copy of your script, both for Friday's broadcast and for the one you made at Cedar Rapids, I should be much interested is reading your remarks on the Iowa situation, and also on our mutual friend. Nile has reported several times on his impressions of the new coaches, and with mounting praise. He seems to be enjoying the spring practice., which is something that he usually isn't crazy about, and it would appear that Iowa is going to make an entirely different showing next fall. With my kindest regards, I am Yours very truly [Nile Kinnick, Sr.]
