Saving...
two countries. Enclosed are a couple of clippings which pretty much speak for themselves. Old Winnie has some pregnant ideas on peace as well as war. You will note that he co-authored Britain's 1st social insurance law, brought Beveridge into the gov't, etc. There is a man who is experiencing - at last - the triumph of a public life conducted according to unflinching precept. Most of these other guys are pygmies by comparison. Our family is doing its share for the war effort, I think, but should George's Wyoming deal fall through remember the acute - and dangerous - shortage of farm labor. If he goes anywhere as a cooks helper my sympathy is now extended. Fear I have written too hastily - rather a poorly composed letter. Gunnery goes better - in fact everything Good night Love Nile
