Saturday May 22, 1943 Dear Folks, Just a note saying that all is well and that I am feeling fine. Operating from a carrier is good adventure, and I like it. Am rooming with Bill Reiter and Frank Rogers, both good gents. Presume that Ben has finished up his training by now. Hope he got the leave he expected. Note by the brief bulletin we get each day that Churchill has been in the States again. Would like to have heard his speech to Congress. Guess he was in usual fine form. The fracas in N. Africa was brought to a grand and fitting climax wasn't it? The main bout is not far off now. You will be glad to know that my gunnery has improved a great deal. It was largely a matter of range, I think. Miss you all very much. Give my best to grandma and Aunt Min if they are still staying with you. We should be head Love, Nile C Kinnick
