Saving...
he doesn't get to see Ellie pretty soon, to say nothing of you people. Will reinclose his letter at a later date. A letter from Pettet states that is now a 1st Lt. and that Erick is a Capt. He also confirmed the report that Hobbs is heading back for the States. Am wondering if he shot down any Japs in his short tour of duty. Things continue to go well with me here. Besides flying I manage to read quite a bit and play some bridge. The trip is beginning to drag, however, and I shall be glad when we start back. You will understand that censorship restrictions prevent my telling of what we are doing, etc. The Navy should have already sent you a blank to fill out in case of change of address. If they haven't done so write to the following address and inform them: Field Branch Bureau of Supplies and Acc'ts Navy Dep't Cleveland Ohio 40 Allotment Division Give my best to Fred when he arrives. Will write at greater length when I get back to the States again. Much love, Nile C. Kinnick
