Bob, I didn't intend that this should sound a it were directed mostly to Don & King, but your letter didn't give me much to work on. Glad to learn that things are going along ok. Someone sent me your picture clipped from the Dallas County News. You looked very "salty", matey. Well good luck and best wishes all the way round. See you again one day. Yours, Nile 1166-N.A.S. Quonset Pt.- R. I. King: Inasmuch as so much of this is directed to Don maybe it would be best to forward it to him next & let him send it on to Bob. Use your own judgement. Rec'd your letter sometime ago, and will let this serve as a response. Give my best to M.J. Did you now that Bob H. is now in Hawaii, Ben at Corpus Christi? Along with all the rest of the boys back from the Pacific Sum was in an enviable position while on leave. Would like to have talked with him. We have a pilot in our squadron who was at Midway & later 3 weeks on Guadacanal. What stories he has to tell! If I get back I'll feed that Adel Rotary the wildest tales they ever heard - John Snyder included.
