in the quiet faith that God protects those who do their righteous duty. I cannot begin to tell you how proud and happy I am. In truth you are noble people. There was something else, of smaller significance, in which I took pride while I was at home. The absence of a rubber mat over the floorboards in the family car cried eloquently to me of the proper and aggressive spirit of sacrifice.
