(Norfolk Va.?) Tuesday Oct 6, 1942 Dear Gus: Enclosed is a check for 159\00 which I wish you would deposit in my account. It is I endorsed but you can remedy that in a hurry!? Would appreciate an acknowledgement of receipt - if only by post card. Got my box of flight gear today, all neatly wrapped and how. Am sending it right on to Jax without opening it. Thanks a lot for your trouble. We are leaving for Jacksonville on Thurs.
