which I enclose, along with another bit of doggerel. On Saturday we saw the movie "Tales of Manhattan" an integration of a series of short stories, or so it seemed to us. Would recommend it for light entertainment. Between shows Maurice held forth at the console, and "we" all joined in singing the current favorites. I enjoyed myself immensely, music gives me an inner peace and joy. After the war I must have a combination radio and victrola with lost of records. Don't you agree, George? Last night at the station movie an old March of Time showed Wilkie making a short talk. For the first time his manner was entirely pleasing to me. He didn't try to be so dramatic, just talked conversationally which much better suits him to my way of thinking. The logic of his writings and his political philosophy are unassailable. If he an now develop a better speaking technique he'll be hard to beat in the next election. And
