And remember, regardless of what duty you get, what plane you are flying, or where you are sent, your protection is assured by Principle and nothing else. Glad to hear that you get along so well on you "A" check. By now you probably have had your 20 hour check and done just as well with it. I have only one piece of advice - keep always on the alert, maintain your airspeed, and don't do any "flathatting," it just isn't worth it. Any questions you might think I can answer be sure and send them along. I"ll be here for another month or so, I guess. Have had a few hours in a F4F-3 and find it a mighty nice little ship. It is just the same as a F4F-4 except is a little lighter and a little faster - strange as that may seem. It is a very stable ship and easy to fly, but, brother, when you stall it out you had better be near the ground for it is coming down right now.
