Enclosed is a clipping from the D.M. Register which Grandma sent me yesterday. I know that you will take as much pride in it as I do. George has done surprisingly well this fall, it is too bad he doesn't have a couple of years more of competition. While I was home I watched Benson practice a couple of times, and he looked as if he could throw a pretty good pass and run with quite a bit of "savvy" though not very fast. At the time, he told me he couldn't kick very well, but the average given in this article is phenomenal. I fear, that it is badly exaggerated, for letters from home have not indicated such punting as that, although George did write me that he kicked one 65 yds against South. I think 170# is about 10 above his actual weight, too. The guy from Omaha who sent in the material was making darn sure they'd use it. I am hoping to get some comment on the article from home very soon. Perhaps, they will confirm all statistics - which would make me very happy. In any event for the first year of football at his age George is doing remarkably well. Yours, Nile
