Saving...
he does have a fine house and family doesn't he? Had a letter from Tait a couple of weeks ago saying that he had a most pleasant time visiting with you. I'm sure both Tait & Earl appreciated you stopping in. Disappointed to hear that George's grades weren't up to expectations. It would seem that he should do better than that. However, I would think your decision would depend on the degree of his application. If he didn't try as hard as he ought then, perhaps, he should be penalized. He should be judged entirely according to his, G.W. K. - capabilities and not in comparison with his brothers' records, good or bad. And I trust he is honest enough with himself not to take advantage of such a standard of decision. Really expect that he will have quite a season in basketball. Power to him! As for my Xmas present, there is no need to trouble yourself. I have everything I require. If you want to add to my library, however, you might look into the cost of Winston Churchill's two volume work "The World Crisis" - a history of World War I
