Tuesday June 2, 1942 NAVAL AIR STATION PENSACOLA Dear Family, Now this is more like it: No ground school, liberty every night until 9:30 if you want it, and usually secured out at squadron fairly early in the afternoon. This schedule gives an opportunity for letter writing, extra sleep, and even a little golf. I had a watch at the ACRAC ([illegible] Rec. & Ath. Club) Sat. night so couldn't get off the base. Did live up a deal for Sunday, however, that you will want to hear about.
