2 [Navy Insignia] NAVAL AIR STATION PENSACOLA after supper at Martines Bob & I drove out to Lt. McCroskey's house. You will remember him as my instructor out at primary squadron. He is a right good guy, & we all had a fine visit, he passing along interesting stories of happenings in the fleet. Needless to say he was glad to hear that I had gotten carrier duty. Finally, back to the base and bedtime--another week has begun. My instrument flying is going along pretty well now. Probably will check on Thursday. It is really remarkable how a fellow can orientate himself
